Things to Keep In Mind before Starting…

It must be mentioned that the training website was designed with the most common computer setup and internet options in mind. To that end, there will always be exceptions to the rule. If you have problems viewing the website, or content on the website does not load or does not load properly, feel free to contact me (matt@avi-communications.com) and I will look into the issue. However, based on our initial testing and development process most problems that may arise will be because of specific hardware or software settings unique to your system. Please contact your local technician or computer specialist for assistance. As a general rule of thumb, this website will work with computers (PC and Mac) equipped with an internet connection (dial up, cable, DSL, or faster) and using a Microsoft Internet Explorer compatible browser. (Internet Explorer v.5 or better, Mozilla, Firefox, AOL, and other Netscape replacements.) The website is non-hardware intensive, so if you computer is powerful enough to check email, you should be able to use and access this website.

Using the website is no more difficult that checking email. In fact, if you have ever gone to a website and had to fill out an online form or setup a username and password to access the websites contents, then you have already mastered what you need to know! Below are steps on how you will access .

1) When you are ready to begin the online testing portion of the training, your manager will have to add your name and email address to his or her testing group. Please verify with them that this has been done. If they have not added you or they do not know the procedure, please have them read the Help Me Get Started section titled How Do I Login /Getting Started Using QuantumEliteTraining.com? (MANAGERS) For further questions please have them contact me directly.

2) Once you have been added to your manager’s or the overseeing manager’s training group, you will receive an email from QuantumEliteTraining.com confirming you have been added to the website. Verify that the contact information is correct and write down your temporary password. (you may also use the copy and paste feature on the keyboard if you prefer.)

3) Using the link provided in the email, you will direct yourself to a password verification and change screen on QuantumEliteTraining.com. Here you will want to enter your temporary password, a new permanent password and choose a question and answer for verification if you lose or forget the password.

If you cannot use the link or are having problems with the link, try copying and pasting the link directly into the browsers address bar (URL line). If this still does not work, verify you are connected to the internet. If problems persist, contact your station technician or IT professional. If it is determined to be an issue with the website or with your logins, please contact me and I will look into the issue and contact you with a resolution.

4) Once you have made all the changes necessary, save your changes using the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen and you will then be redirected back to the QuantumEliteTraining.com main page.

5) Here, you can click on IM A STUDENT and enter your User ID (email address) and password. Important note: If you forget your password, or you think someone else might have access to it, use the FORGOT PASSWORD / CHANGE PASSWORD option under your login screen to reset it. If you have forgotten your question for reset, please let your manager know. They can reset your password and you will then you will be able to change it to something else.

6) After entering your user ID and password correctly, you will be sent to your student transcript. This is the starting page for all your testing needs. Here you will see the tests listed on the left along with their corresponding Disk number. On the right you will see your progress, score and status.

7) To take a test, simply click on the name of the test you wish to attempt. Tests do not have to be completed in order, however to receive the certification, you must complete all the tests with the exception of DISK 10 Ratings module (complete the one that applies to you.) 20 total tests.

8) When you click on a test, a popup window will appear with the first question. All test questions are either multiple choice or True False. With multiple choice, be sure to read carefully, as some questions require more than one answer. Once you have answered a question, click NEXT to proceed to the next question.

9) After you have completed all the questions, you will be given a score and either a pass or failed on your transcript under progress. If you fail, check your email for details on what questions you have gotten wrong. After reviewing the material, retake the exam. Once you have received a higher score and a “pass” on progress, you may proceed.

10) Repeat steps 8-9 for the rest of the tests, after you have viewed the DVD learning modules that apply. Once you have completed the 20 necessary tests, you will be done! Please talk to your manager about requesting a certificate of completion.

Remember once you have completed a test with a passing score, the test will become deactivated. Once you have completed the Backgrounder tests, you will be given a popup screen you can print with important facts about each of the business backgrounders you will study. Use these “Cheat Sheets” when preparing to call on the business. Once you have completed the course and no longer need access, please tell a manager so he or she can deactivate your logins. (This helps prevent cheating and unnecessary access.)
