Things to Keep In Mind before Starting…
It must be mentioned that the training
website was designed with the most common computer setup and internet
options in mind. To that end, there will always be exceptions to
the rule. If you have problems viewing the website, or content
on the website does not load or does not load properly, feel free
to contact me and
I will look into the issue. However, based on our initial testing
and development process most problems that may arise will be because
of specific hardware or software settings unique to your system.
Please contact your local technician or computer specialist for
assistance. As a general rule of thumb, this website will work
with computers (PC and Mac) equipped with an internet connection
(dial up, cable, DSL, or faster) and using a Microsoft Internet
Explorer compatible browser. (Internet Explorer v.5 or better,
Mozilla, Firefox, AOL, and other Netscape replacements.) The website
is non-hardware intensive, so if you computer is powerful enough
to check email, you should be able to use and access this website.
Using the website is no more difficult that checking email. In fact, if
you have ever gone to a website and had to fill out an online form or setup
a username and password to access the websites contents, then you have already
mastered what you need to know! Below are steps on how you will access .
1) When you are ready to begin training account executives for the first
time, you will need to contact and
provide me with your email address, mailing address, and station contact
number. This information will be used to create a training account for
you on QuantumEliteTraining.com.
2) Once the account has been created, you
will receive an email from QuantumEliteTraining.com that contains your
User ID (email address) and temporary password. The email will also contain
a copy of your contact information and a link to the website to change
your temporary password.
3) Using the link provided in the email, you will direct yourself to a password
verification and change screen on QuantumEliteTraining.com. Here you will want
to enter your temporary password, a new permanent password and choose a question
and answer for verification if you lose or forget the password.
If you cannot use the link or are having problems with the link, try
copying and pasting the link directly into the browsers address bar (URL
line). If this still does not work, verify you are connected to the internet.
If problems persist, contact your station technician or IT professional.
If it is determined to be an issue with the website or with your logins,
please contact me and I will look into the issue and contact you with a
resolution.
MANAGERS: If you lose your password, or suspect that
someone else has access to it, please use the FORGOT PASSWORD / CHANGE
PASSWORD option immediately under the manager login page. If you are able
to reset it, you can contact me directly, but be warned that I am unable
to reset passwords. I can create a new account or reset the account completely.
In the event I have to reset the account, the progress of your AEs will
be lost. I suggest writing down your User ID and password and storing it
somewhere safe, or provide it to another supervising manager.
4) Once you have made all the changes necessary, save your changes using the
SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen and you will then be redirected back
to the QuantumEliteTraining.com main page.
5) Here, you can click on IM A MANAGER and enter your User
ID (email address) and password. Important note: If you forget your password,
or you think someone else might have access to it, let your manager know.
They can reset your password and you will then you will be able to change
it to something else.
6) After entering your user ID and password correctly,
you will be sent to your management control screen. This is the starting
page for all your management needs.
6a) Logoff will log you out of the managers screen and
return you to the managers login page.
6b) Add students allows you to add students to your testing
group. Please follow the on screen directions exactly. If you receive an
error message, there will be instructions on what you need to do to proceed.
In most cases, the error will be because you are trying to enter an email
address of someone that is already enrolled in your group, or they are
enrolled in another group, or you have not followed the correct format
for entering email address.
Important Note: If you type in someone’s email address incorrectly,
that person will not receive a confirmation email. Be sure to check with your
AEs and make sure they are receiving the emails and there are no problems initially
when signing in. If they do not receive an email, you can use the MANAGE USERS
section to remove their email address or make changes to fix it. If the email
is correct and they are still not receiving emails, please contact me as this
might be a server issue.
6c) Mange Users allows you two major tools for keeping up with your account executives
as well as correcting password problems and dealing with people that leave or
no longer need access. First things first. In the center of the screen you will
see a drop down box with your AEs names listed there. Use this drop down box
to select the AE you want to manage. If their name is not in the box, they either
never signed up and completed the registration process, or you have previously
deactivated them from the database. This is a good way to make sure people are
using the testing website like they are suppose to. Once you have chosen some
to manage from the drop down box, you can click on STUDENT TRANSCRIPT to look
at the students progress (it will give you a realtime look at their transcript.
You will not be able to make changes to this, only view their progress to make
sure they are where they need to be.) You may also select STUDENT SETTINGS. This
will give you chance to make sure their email address is correct (user id and
email should match) and you can RESET their password by click this button or
change their status from A for Active to I for Inactive.
7) When you are done you can click EXIT which will close
the web browser completely and end your session on the website. You can
also click logoff and close the browser manually. Any changes you make
will be updated on the fly so there is no need to save. If you have any
